There is a lot that everyone can do while we wait for trial...write to Daniel, write to his mom (hold her up) she is experiencing something that none of us ever hope to.  If the newspapers have articles about the case, write to the editor and support Daniel.   Basically start a grassroots campaign of community support.  Tie ribbons on trees and houses (make the light blue or something like that).  Come to the court house for pretrial motions and sit behind the defense. Have buttons make with Daniel's picture on it. Organize a vigil.

We also need funding to help protect Daniel from further abuse, and to hire experts for Daniel’s defense.
Also, unfortunately Daniel cannot receive care packages and his basic needs are very expensive while
in jail but you may send money orders.
They must be addressed ITF Daniel M Carter (ITF stands for Inmate Trust Fund)
They will not accept a money order that omits the ITF. Cindy
will fill out the rest of the money order.
Fees are
$14.00 per week for food
$10.00 per medical visit. Right now he needs soap, a thermal shirt, socks
that have to be purchased through the jail only.
