Rimmer Found To Be Ethical In King Case

The First Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee found prosecutor David Rimmer was not unethical in his handling of the King murder case.

The committee met this morning to hear the complaint against assistant State Attorney Rimmer. Last year, he tried Alex and Derek King for killing their father, Terry King.

The brothers later pleaded guilty to third degree murder.

The prosecutor also tried King's friend, Ricky Chavis for the same crime. The complaint accused Rimmer of mishandling the cases and unethical treatment of the defendants.

The committe found there was no probable cause to support the claim.
